My name is Brianna Gardiner. Right now I’m 10 years old but when I was 9 years old I had an idea of a day of hope where everybody would come together, So I asked my Step Dad where I would send a letter to because I had already sent a letter to George Bush about another idea of mine for a kids day and I was disappointed in his reply. My Step dad said to send a letter to the congress of Washington. So I started on a letter to the congress of Washington about a holiday of hope where everyone would take a moment to hope for something special….That letter never got sent but when my mom was cleaning she found it and she read it and then she scanned it and sent it to everyone she knew. She said it gave her hope for our future just to see that I had this idea. So we started to work on making this holiday happen.

The original date was supposed to be on February 5th (my birthday) but we had to change it order to have time to set up this web site. So we started working with a nice man named Barry who volunteered to help us design this web site and a nice lady Amanda who is an artist volunteered her time to design a logo.
